COVENTRY Buildbase Bees go into a vital week of Elite League action with a crunch clash against second-placed Poole at Brandon on Monday.
The Pirates are five points ahead of the Bees, but Coventry - with matches in hand -can move into the driving seat for a top two finish by winning this meeting, which is followed by a trip to Reading on Wednesday and another home match against Wolves on Friday.
Bees expect to be at full strength, with captain Scott Nicholls having ridden well for fourth place in the weekend's Czech Grand Prix despite still suffering from food poisoning.
The Pirates are without No.1 Jason Crump, who is having an operation on a broken knee-cap - but Hans Andersen comes in as a more than adequate guest for the men from Dorset, who were beaten 53-40 at Brandon three weeks ago in a Knockout Cup tie.
Supporters are reminded that as Monday's match is a televised fixture, it starts at the earlier time of 7.30pm.
And the Coventry management have confirmed that, to coincide with the start of the school holidays, all children under the age of eleven will be admitted to Brandon free of charge between now and the end of the season.
