After the lunchtime cracker at the East of England Showground, the teams re-convened at Brandon in front of a bumper crowd and put on another meeting full of excitement and controversy.
With Hans Andersen on the sidelines, Bees moved to bring in their 2010 title-winning skipper Chris Harris to guest at No.1, and they operated rider-replacement at No.2 with both doubling-up riders Richard Sweetman and Travis McGowan unavailable.
For the Panthers, their top five remained unchanged from the earlier meeting but Richard Lawson replaced Dakota North at reserve.
